We're getting married!

Hello Sunshine,
our big day is almost here and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. If the weather is on our side, we’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. So be sure to pack a jacket and be prepared for any weather. Please also wear shoes you feel comfortable with walking on grass and gravel.

How do I get to Schliersee without a car?

Take the regional train RB55 toward Bayrisch Zell from Munich Central Station to Schliersee or Fischhausen-Neuhaus (depending on where you're staying). The train leaves every hour.

Attention: The train to Schliersee consists of three waggon sections (RB55, RB56, RB57). When getting on the train, make sure you are in the correct section (RB55 toward Bayrisch Zell). The train number and direction is displayed outside on the waggon as well as inside the train. If you have boarded the wrong section of the train, you can still switch until the stop Holzkirchen.

You can buy a ticket through the Deutsche Bahn app, the MVGO app, or the ticket machines. A one-way ticket for adults from Munich to Schliersee costs 20 EUR. If you plan to travel multiple times that day, get a day pass for 23 EUR. For groups of two or more, a group day pass for 39 EUR is a good deal (up to 5 adults, with 2 children counting as 1 adult). Make sure you buy a ticket for Zone M-8.

Saturday, 23.05. 11:40	Ceremony Our wedding ceremony begins at 12:00 o`clock at the Wasmeier Open-Air Museum. Please try to arrive at the museum entrance around 11:40. If you’re coming by car, you can park at the museum entrance. From there, it’s about a 5 to 10 minute walk. To get to the ceremony, go through the museum entrance. Walk toward the restaurant “Zum Wofen.” If the weather is nice, the ceremony will take place on the “Blumenwiese” behind the restaurant. If the weather is bad, we’ll move to a barn to the left of the restaurant (“Behamhof”).
